I wrote earlier in my post that I would write a note a day. Hokaaaay, that was December. Which has passed, like... 4 weeks ago. And there aren't so many words as to fill that 4 weeks. In this blog. Hehehe..
Well, I put my writing in my paper diary (so lame, hah?) But really, I am starting to like writing in the old ways again. On paper. I just had nasty experience with electronic writing.
See, my fried lend me his old PocketPC for me to use as I like it. Which I use as I like it: recording daily expenses, recording daily events (calendar), people contact details, writing my journal, and store some favorite music. And one day.. on the last day of my travel to Batam and Singapore, it went dead. Just dead. Well, no.. not dead rightaway.. but eventually went dead. Dead and taking everything I recorded in it. Nice.
Plugging it into its craddle wont do no good, I've charged it directly using the cable still to no use. So there goes my memories with it. Hiks.
So now I am a bit 'allergic' to those sorts of writing. Turned out you can still depend on good ol' paper and pen (or better yet, pencil). No electricity, no charging, no hang episode, no synchronization problem, no reading error. Just pack and go.
But I wonder how would I react when all my papers are gone eaten by termite, or submerged in flood or burnt in fire?
Perhaps, when the Roman wrote their important things on stone tablets they were using their heads afterall.
Ciao.
